Woodworking/Lathes and chucks question?
Ok, I just bought this lathe in the link.

How do you tell which kind of mandrel you need? As in which one will fit this lathe? Or are they a universal fit? I'm fairly new with lathes and I'd appreciate any information. Thanks!
EVERY LATHE COMES WITH A MANUAL. IT WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOUR HEADSTOCK REQUIRES. GENERALLY A #2 MORSE TAPER WILL DO THE TRICK, BUT FOR SMALLER LATHES DESIGNED JUST FOR PEN TURNING IT MAY TAKE A #1 MT, AT ANY RATE CHECK YOUR MANUAL.
